When a client is in need of a household item, we are usually able to apply for funding from The Rope Trust, who, if we can show that there is not enough disposable income for a client to purchase such items, will often arrange purchase and delivery for them.
This month we have applied for and received three such grants for clients. Two were for ovens and one was for half a tank of LPG gas.
As LPG gas is only delivered by the full tank, we used our relief fund to pay for the other half.
As a consequence of this partnership we now have two households able to cook efficiently on a new oven and one household who have hot water and heating again.
