How we help people out of poverty

We are here to partner with church members and churches to help those trapped in poverty in East Suffolk using our experts and our holistic approach.

We want to prevent people from getting into debt and poverty in the first place. That is why we go into schools to teach children about managing money from an early age. It is why we provide financial education to those in prison to prepare them when they make their new start.

If people are in already in debt, we help them get out of it as quickly and easily as possible and provide emergency support, especially in the winter. Many of our clients testify to how we have helped them and you can read their stories via the link in the mailing.

If people are out of debt but are still dependent on benefits, we offer employment support, life skills and money coaching courses.

For those with mental health issues that are often severe enough to be an obstacle to our anti-poverty work with them, we offer counselling support (without the NHS waiting list) where we have funding to do so.
