For existing service users, we have a small fund available to help out in the instance of genuine emergencies
Since we set up the Relief Fund, examples of how we have used the money include:
Contributing to the cost of new domestic appliances for those whose old ones have broken;
Helping out with the cost of new shoes and uniform for school children;
Providing essential furniture for those experiencing a sudden change in their living conditions;
Complementing our Christmas Hampers to those in need by providing a small supermarket gift card to help with their discretionary costs at an expensive time of the year for families.
We are very grateful to our supporters who regularly contribute to this fund as well as occasional contributors such as East Suffolk District Council and Suffolk Community Foundation. We are also happy to acknowledge the immense support of the Rope Trust in this activity.
