Job Club – And that’s a wrap!!
8 participants have completed the latest Job Club course in Woodbridge. Each and every one said they would recommend the course to others – a great endorsement.
It was so good to see confidences grow throughout and see participants strengthening the belief in their own abilities and being able to take this forward beyond the confines of the course.
We will keep in touch with these Job Club members. The support doesn’t just stop.
Life Skills Course
The course ran from May to July and was kindly hosted by Framlingham United Free Church.
Ten participants joined the course, with seven completing most sessions and seven receiving slow cookers (kindly funded by the Rope Trust) and preparing ingredients during a session.
During one of our Emotional Health sessions, Andrew Williams of Wellbeing Suffolk visited and presented the services they offer, both online, and in-person. In another session we all tried, with varied success, to make an origami box (learning a new skill!) and in another searched pictures of rooms for safety hazards.
There was much laughter and chatter, lots of food (and left-overs to take home) and some deep conversations. People said they felt encouraged and enjoyed the course.
