Restore – our new Triage system is moving from its pilot phase into live running. It enables us to understand the poverty journey of each of our service users as an individual and both “prescribe” our services and signpost to other organisations in a way that most closely meets that user’s needs at that point in time.
Counselling – thanks to generous grant funding from East Suffolk District Council (both centrally and locally through its Community Local Partnerships in our district), we now have (restricted) funding to provide mental health support to any of our service users whose triage results suggest that counselling would be of benefit. This is a vitally important addition to our service range in supporting individuals holistically.
Employment support – after two employment support courses in Woodbridge and Leiston, we are delighted to say that our third course in Framlingham will be heavily oversubscribed. We therefore face a challenge as to how to scale up our capacity to cope with the demand we are experiencing at the same time as incorporating the learning and improvements from our first two courses going forwards.
