SCPA gives thanks for new team members and invites continued prayer for fundraising, First Responders and new volunteers as demand for poverty support grows. A dedicated WhatsApp Prayer Group shares requests and answers to prayer, following simple guidelines to protect confidentiality and maintain a focused, supportive space for the work of SCPA.

Please give thanks for our recruitment work. Rebecca Parkes started as our Employment Support manager on 1st September and Simon Bowles our Debt Coach who started on 1st October. Give thanks for the gifts of these two excellent new recruits.

Pray for our fundraising. Our increased scale requires a lot of energy in fundraising.

Please pray for First Responders as they seek to help those in need. And for volunteers to come forward to enable us to meet the increasing demand for poverty action.

Please do not include any personal details – Christian names are fine.

Do not respond to messages, other than to signal that you are praying.

Please be aware that other members of the group will be able to see your contact details.

Any messages which breach these guidelines will be deleted and anyone who persistently breaches them will be removed from the group.
